This is the perfect event to invite someone who has not been to Church before or might be seeking faith in their life. The 635 serves as a springboard into Parish life, having our “regulars” there will be an opportunity to meet new young adults to the area and invite them into community. Music by Dave & Lauren Moore, dynamic speaker with Confession available the entire evening. Wear your POP Young Adults shirt and gather with us early at 6:30pm for Happy Hour with free food and drinks!

Join us on the First Tuesday of each month at 7PM in the Parish Hall this Summer as we gather to dive into the upcoming Sunday's Gospel!  As we pray with the scripture, we will seek to understand its message and allow it to resonate deeply within us. After our prayer time, we will break into small groups to share our insights and reflections on what struck us most in the Gospel reading. Through this shared journey of prayer and reflection, we are strengthened and prepared to fully embrace the Word of God during Sunday Mass!

 Join POP Young Adults Saturday April 20th at 9:00 AM to serve the poor at the DART station in Plano. We will hand out water bottles to the homeless and clean up the park around them. Meet at Prince of Peace and we will carpool together. Bring a friend along!

Face to Face: Women's Retreat

Join POP Young Adult Women with Regnum Christi for the Face to Face Bridegroom Retreat at the Nazareth Retreat Center in Grand Prarie. The retreat will start Friday at 6:00 pm and conclude on Sunday at 1:00 PM. This is good for any young women 18-35 interested in a deep and transformative encounter with Jesus the Bridegroom. There will be opportunities for confession and spiritual direction.

Registration costs include: lodging, meals through Sunday breakfast.

Forge & Refine Spring Session Registration Opens

Prince of Peace Young Adults seeks to guide every member to be known and loved, rooted in God’s Word, and committed to His Mission. Community groups play a vital role in helping relationships flourish in the life of the Church. In community we are known, loved, cared for, pursued, encouraged, and challenged to be more like Christ.

Registration for Young Adult Small Groups (Forge & Refine) for the Spring Session officially opens March 3rd, 2024. You can register and learn more about the commitment for Small Groups here! The Spring Session will begin the week of April 7th and run for 8 consecutive weeks. If you can’t commit to meeting weekly, we do have some groups meeting every other week - fill out the form through the link mentioned above and we will get you connected! Please register no later than April 1st to ensure that we give our leaders enough time to reach out and prepare for the start of the session.

SOLT Mission Trip

Looking to start the new year off well in service and on mission? Join us for a weekend in Corpus Christi, serving with and to SOLT (Society of Our Lady of The Trinity) missionaries on their convent grounds and helping to serve the homeless in downtown Corpus Christi. It’ll be a restorative weekend of reaching out with love to others, and some beach time fun is included!   We will leave early Friday Morning January 26th and return in the evening Sunday January 28th via carpool. Registration fee is $100.

Self Defense Class

Join POP Young Adults for our first ever Self Defense Class! As we train our bodies to protect ourselves, we will dive into the sacred understanding of what we are made for. Saint John Paul the Great said, “The body, in fact, and it alone, is capable of making visible what is invisible: the spiritual and the divine.”

Starting September 23rd, join us every other Saturday morning in the Faith Formation Center, Room 813 & 814 at 10:00am for a 6-week course, where scripture and prayer guide us towards embracing the divine purpose of our bodies! You must be registered for the class to participate. Registration is open now through the second meeting on October 7th, 2023. Register below!
